- Always use a heat protectant when styling. Frequent heat styling may slightly alter the hair’s natural wave pattern, similar to natural hair.
- At night, protect with a satin scarf or bonnet to minimize frizz and flyaways.
- Use flexi-rods or heatless curlers overnight to maintain heat styled curls.
- Tie hair into a high ponytail, bun, or twists to maintain the natural curl pattern.
- Wash extensions once a week-every two weeks with sulfate free products.
- Avoid excessive rubbing when washing your extensions to prevent tangling.
- Dry shampoo can be used between washes when hair is heat styled.
- Curly hair may need to be co-washed more often.
- If your extensions feel dry, you can skip shampooing and instead co-wash to refresh the hair without stripping moisture.
- Shampoo vs Co-Wash
- Shampoo: Use a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo to cleanse the hair when needed, removing buildup and impurities. Avoid over-washing, which can dry the hair.
- Co-Wash: Use a cleansing conditioner to refresh and detangle the hair without stripping natural moisture. Ideal for dry or chemically treated extensions.

Installation Tips
- Co-wash extensions before installing.
-
Avoid cutting the wefts, as this can cause excessive shedding and reduce the longevity of your extensions.
- Consider using weft sealant for added durability.
- Store your extensions in a silk or satin bag between installs to maintain their texture, prevent tangling, and protect the hair’s integrity.
Coloring
Our hair is 100% unprocessed, so it can be colored just like natural hair. If you decide to dye your extensions, always use a licensed hair professional and take precautions to protect the integrity of the hair. Keep in mind once the hair has been chemically altered, its natural pattern may loosen slightly.
